Hiding is a game mechanic for the game Five Nights at Treasure Island introduced in the remastered version.
Gameplay[]
Holding SHIFT allows the player to hide under the desk in The Office until a Suit leaves The Office. A message will appear at the bottom of the player's screen that explains to hold shift to hide. Upon hiding, a message appears onscreen to explain that hiding will have a 50/50 chance of working against a suit.
In Remastered 1.0, Photo-Negative Mickey is the only suit that has its own jumpscare if the player is caught under the desk; however, more suits have been confirmed to have their own hiding jumpscare as well.
Bugs[]
It has been reported that Hiding does not seem to work at all in Remastered 1.0.
